The year 2026 marks the 150th anniversary of Bailey Walsh & Co. The company has continued to thrive and flourish despite two world wars, two global pandemics, numerous economic downturns and recessions, and changes to political regime and intellectual property legislation that took place during this time. We believe this is a fantastic achievement and is certainly an accolade worth celebrating.

It appears he initially started working in the Patent Office as a “Draughtsman” in 1901 but by 1911 he is listed as a “patent agents assistant” (Source: Wikitree). The exact date when Pickles Bailey started working with John E. Walsh is not known but at some point they entered into partnership and the firm was renamed Bailey Walsh & Co.
